WRAP Scotland Recycling Managers Training Programme
Courses are aimed at recycling and waste managers in local authorities and those from not-for-profit / community organisations or private waste management companies who are directly involved in delivering and managing local authority recycling services.
This is a new blended learning programme with three elements:
- Required pre-course e-learning to ensure delegates have a common understanding of certain key concepts and terminology;
- Face to face study to allow application of knowledge; and
- Post course, work based reports and discussion forums to extend and consolidate learning.

Packaging and the future for recycling plastics

The course aims to provide local authority officers and contractors with an update on current issues impacting on packaging and looks at future opportunities to increase the range of plastic packaging collected for recycling in the UK.
